Terms and Conditions

Children
We only have one room for families, Our family suite where children are included in the room rate. We do have rooms that will accommodate a cot for which we charge £5.00 for the cot. Normal rates apply for children in a room to themselves.

Short Breaks
Short breaks and special offers are usually a minimum of 2 nights, prices are based on two people sharing the room and may not be available during peak periods i.e. Christmas, New Year, Easter and some Bank Holidays. Terms available on request. Two for one offers are based on the full tariff rate for that room and may not be available on all room types.

Confirmation terms
All reservations must be confirmed with a non-refundable deposit of £50.00 per room. In the case of credit card confirmations this will be deducted from your credit card account.

Arrival and Departure Times
Bedrooms are usually available for occupation from 2.00pm till 9pm on the day of arrival and we ask that they are vacated by 10.30am on the day of departure.

Cancellation
If you cancel a booking less than 2 days before arrival, fail to arrive, or leaving before the original departure date we reserve the right to claim the total booking cost. We recommend you consider holiday cancellation insurance cover in case of unforeseen circumstances.

Parking
Car parking to the rear of Ellerthwaite lodge is free to paying guests.

Pets
Unfortunately we now no longer accept pets at Ellerthwaite lodge due to bad experiences.

Liability
We don't accept liability for damage caused to vehicles or owners property.
