Although close to this bustling and lively Lake District village, Ellerthwaite is a detached guest house set in its own grounds and has an almost secluded nature. In addition to the private car park, there is a spacious library gardens ablaze with azaleas and rhododendrons in the spring and also just 5 minute's walk to is the public park with children's play area, tennis courts and cricket ground.
